absolutely loved our stay at Smiddy Lodge in Balloch! The old building conversion was stunning, with beautiful stone walls and high-quality features. The lodge felt like a cozy home, especially with the little welcome package in the fridge. The location was perfect for exploring the area and attending a wedding. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Wifi and tv setup was a bit confusing.

My husband and I stayed at Smiddy Lodge for 2 nights and it was the perfect base for exploring the area. The lodge itself is a beautifully transformed old building with charming brick walls and beams. It felt like home with thoughtful touches like a welcome supply of food and a bottle of wine. The kitchen was well-equipped and the shower was hot and powerful. The quirky mezzanine floor for the bedroom added a unique touch. a cozy and comfortable stay.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of the area. the lodge itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for your stay. the added bonus of essential food items and a bottle of wine upon arrival is a thoughtful touch.
Finding the lodge for delivery purposes can be a bit challenging, and some may find it farther from the town than expected.

loved our stay in this beautiful old building turned cosy apartment. Had an amazing Christmas at this cozy lodge! Loved the stunning architecture and the exposed stone walls. the lodge was well-maintained and had a lovely conservatory. the location was perfect, with convenient access to nearby attractions like Luss and Loch Lomond Shores. the added bonus of essential food items and a bottle of wine was a delightful touch.
The photos were a bit misleading, as there was no garden or pergola as shown. the lodge is actually part of a complex with shared parking.

As old people, we loved the convenient location for trips to Luss, Balloch, and Loch Lomond Shores. the lodge had everything we needed, including essential food items and a bottle of wine. the beautiful old building had lovely features with brick walls and beams, and it felt like our home for the week. the fully equipped and spacious kitchen, along with the great shower and large cupboard for storage, made our stay comfortable. the conservatory was a nice addition and would be perfect in the summer. the owners were very helpful and the lodge was in a nice private location, yet still easily accessible.
Felt very welcomed, no complaints.
